Hello,

I am going to try to start some sort of discussion here again.

Retail sector is facing challanges like increasing food cost, high energy and distribution cost, increasing payroll cost and slower consumer spending and business spending etc.

While many companies have hired consultants to cope with those challanges; we have been working on putting a program together that not only benefits us but can benefits other chains as well. This is based on leveraged volume purchasing from commodoty items, merchant solutions, telecommmunications and many others.

It makes more sense for companies to work together to combine their buying power and work towards common goals..

Thoughts ideas?

    An online buying marketplace for the industry - offers a lot of benefits.  The marketplace should be membership based and offer cost advantages.  There should be phone support for members to call in and discuss their requirements.

     

    We are presently part of the investment group in an online marketplace for the hospitality industry.
