Tank Farm Demolition Project Completed by Universal Wrecking Corp.

Universal Wrecking Corp. was tasked with demolition of a large tank farm for a phosphate processing plant. Tanks were either cut in place and sections cut down with the assistance of two cranes or excavators with shears and grapples were used to demolish the structures.

DURATION: 2 months

EQUIPMENT:

Equipment utilized for this project included

• 100,000 lb class excavator with shear attachment
• 100,00 lb class excavator with grapple attachment
• 500 ton hydraulic crane
• 150 ton hydraulic crane
• Two (2) bobcat skid steers with demo grapple attachments
• Various support equipment
• 6 employees consisting of operators and laborers
