Bio
Graduated cum laude from GSU with a degree in Film and Journalism. Worked in women centric businesses in leadership roles, spent time in Atlanta headquartered CNN International until having children and deciding to stay home to raise her young children. After deciding to go back to work and not getting interest from employers, Hulya decided to take her destiny into her own hands. Living in the suburbs, she felt disconnected and out of touch with her community. Finding the gap to large to fill on her own, she decided to produce a publication and an online community employing the models made famous by WIkipedia and Youtube, the social media model. She founded Modern Mom Magazine, the only lifestyle magazine for moms that connects them in print, online and in person. 100% reader generated. She lives in Northern VA with husband and her two children.
